School Visits
As part of our commitment to recycling we are also running industrial visits for local school children - in conjunction with Groundwork Rossendale and Rossendale Borough Council - to provide first hand experience of recycling in a manufacturing environment as well as to promote more general aspects of environmental responsibility.
The school visits can fit into curriculum projects on recycling and include a brief presentation on the processes involved in recycling from collection to finished product, followed by a factory tour to see the machines in action. Visits are suitable for older Primary and all Secondary students.
